anti-wrinkle injections

Wrinkles/lines seen when the face is at rest are called static lines and lines/wrinkles seen when we are making facial expressions are called dynamic lines.

To relax these lines/wrinkles we treat using botox to the frown, forehead and crows feet area.

​

The procedure usually takes around 20 minutes. In this time I will ask you to pull some facial expressions to understand your facial muscles and mark up injection points. The botox is then delicately injected into the muscles using an insulin syringe.

 

The results of treatment are usually seen within 7-14 days and maximum effect may be seen 5-6 weeks after injection.

 

Treatment has been shown to be effective up to 4 months after injection (individual results may vary). At least 3 months must pass between treatments.

I include a 2 week review appointment at no extra charge.

Other areas that can be treated with botox include the lower face and neck.  It is also a very successful treatment for excessive sweating.
